Hitler wasn

being thrown in the river?

no, they had have rotted away withing months of being dumped into the river.

This girl in my soccer team thinks I

I just started soccer a few weeks ago..like I've never played before. So I was a bit new to the team, everyone was already talking to their old friends (they've played in the same team for a few years?) and so I only had one of my friend. So I started a conversation with this girl (let's assume her name is K)K, and I asked if she knew a guy named J (let's assume that as well). She said that he was her brother, and asked me all these questions. I said that he was a bit taller than her, with dark, curly brown hair and he works at "(place name)".

She was a bit shocked and thought I had stalked her brother... but the truth was when I was in year 5, his girlfriend asked me for a pen and since then I kinda remembered his face, then another time was when he talked to me and my friends on the bus. And I knew his name cause I saw K talking to him after one soccer practise and I thought I knew him from somewhere.

I know where he works at is because my school is located in the same direction as the place he works at, so I have to catch a bus everyday, and one day I saw him.

I don't know what she thinks of me now...A psycho stalker? I think she was joking when she had said it..but I'm still not sure? Am I a stalker?

No. I don't think your a stalker, i think you have a good memory and you observe your surroundings on the way to school. If your passing a place and recognize someone or see someone you might know, it obviously going to stand out. Just try talking to her again, maybe less about her brother. Just have general conversation with her, if she meant what she said she won't talk to you!!

Good Luck

No I don't thing that you're a stalker. I just think you've got a crush on the guy. And I think K is being over protective of her brother. Probably just surprised her because you know so much about him.

yea

What

My son. I'd give my life to protect him.

the most important thing in my life is to live happy... live with honour.. live with friends... live with dignity... i jus want to live till i am "alive"..... did you hear the song " its my life " by bon jovi..!!
What do you understand by the term postmodernism in a political context?

Postmodernism literally means 'after the modernist movement'. While "modern" itself refers to something "related to the present", the movement of modernism and the following reaction of postmodernism are defined by a set of perspectives. It is used in critical theory to refer to a point of departure for works of literature, drama, architecture, cinema and design, as well as in marketing and business and the interpretation of history, law and culture in the late 20th century.

Postmodernism is an aesthetic, literary, political or social philosophy, which was the basis of the attempt to describe a condition, or a state of being, or something concerned with changes to institutions and conditions.

Michel Foucault rejected the label of postmodernism explicitly in interviews but is seen by many to advocate a form of critique that is "postmodern" in that it breaks with the Utopian and transcendental nature of "modern" critique by calling universal norms of the Enlightenment into question. What counts as "postmodern" is a stake in political struggles where the method of critique is at issue. The recurring themes of these debates are between essential ism and anti-foundational ism, universalism and relativism, where enlightenment thinking is seen to represent the former and postmodernism the latter.

was that the answer of your question ?

Who put all these ninnies in control?

And recognizing them for what they are, why do we let them stay in control?

Really really good question!

Human Services help pls?

The SREB in 1979 identified a classification for thirteen functional roles for human service workers.

Linkage/Advocacy; Therapeutic EnvironmentalControl; Administration/Management; Treatment/PLanning.

Evaluation; Education; Research; and Counseling

Linkage/Advocacy; Education; Administration; Treatment.

Treatment/Planning; Administration/Management; Linkage/Advocacy; Education/Counseling.

None of the above. The SREB prefers the generalist nonclassified identification.

The ability to work with consumers to provide "across the board" services, to work in a variety of settings; to work cooperatively with all professions, and to offer a number of therapeutic services describes:

A human service worker.

A generalist.

A subspecialist.

All of the above.

What is the most humiliating thing that has happened to you?

There are so many little things that happened to me that were pretty humiliating, I guess. I'm not really too embarassed about stuff anymore. One time I flipped out on my whole class and they all ran from me. That was a pretty bad day.

Similar thing to JustDreamingg happened to my friend. She was running to catch a bus which had stopped to pick people up. It was nearly ready to set off but she thought she could squeeze in the nearly closed doors but they shut on her! She had her body and one leg inside the bus and the other leg and her arms outside the bus! She too had red mark on her arms! I just collapsed in the walkway with laughter which probably embarassed me too!

My moment..more embarassing than humiliating (I think I've probably repressed all mine!) was either tripping over my dog in front of a whole train's worth of people, starting my period without realising so the whole back-underneath of my trousers was stained and I had to walk through plymouth to get to the car :S or when I needed to let off some steam, sprinting as fast I could through these woods with music full volume screaming! This old woman walking her dog was rather scared!

Now your turn :P

I was in Mexico, I ate some bad food, (when i bought it, i knew it was unsanitary :/) On the way to my destination , with about 5 family memebers in the truck, i got really bad diarreah, no bathrooms for hundred kilometers, I have to crap on the side of the road with my mom sheltering me with a blanket. whle trucks pass by, :( my name is kept confidental :)

The most humiliating thing that happened to me? I think that was singing at her window ... and all of her neighbours were watching me ... ann her, an at the end of my song, she told me that I'm an a.sshole..xD..! Preety humiliating..! Bby3

you know those automatic rotating doors? well, i quickly tried to get in one but my head got caught in it and i couldn't get out because I was wedged in. After, i finally got out i had a big red marks up the side of my face. I was so embarrassed :P

When the boyfriend of my crush bullied me in the bathroom, then he said to me: Don't you ever talk to my girlfriend!. He do this in front of many people! Then everyone was starring at me bec. of what happen.

Can someone explain social dwarwanism?

am i low or high on the list. I make strait A's, I live in a middle class home, I use recreational drugs, and I"m clumsy.

Social Darwinism is a belief, popular in the late Victorian era in England, America, and elsewhere, which states that the strongest or fittest should survive and flourish in society, while the weak and unfit should be allowed to die.

The theory was chiefly expounded by Herbert Spencer, whose ethical philosophies always held an elitist view and received a boost from the application of Darwinian ideas such as adaptation and natural selection.

Some extreme Social Darwinists argued that it was morally incorrect to assist those weaker than oneself, since that would be promoting the survival and possible reproduction of someone who was fundamentally unfit.

You would be pretty low on the list!

* Middle-class

* Drug use

* Clumsy

Don't feel bad - I'm an amputee.

According to Social Darwinism, I should have been snuffed out ages ago!

What is the cutest age?

What age are we the absolute cutest in your opinion? Also what age do you think most children stop being "cute". This is all just personal opinion.

5 is cute 15 ugly

toddler-age. They still have the cute baby faces and wide imagination which makes them come up with the most creative things.

Three.

U.s. Census Bureau workers?

I saw a census worker walking down my street today. What is he doing? I know they haven't started the 2010 census yet.

What do you think would happen?

OK so say that you were to dive or whatever to the titanic and get coal or a rock or something like that and bring it home what would happen would some sort of portal to a ghost world or something??Or would you just have a very dirty old stinky thing...? i don't know it just popped into my head while watching a t.v.show..

It would depend on just how out there your imagination is!

(And there appears to be nothing wrong with yours!)

Assuming you did reach the Titanic and managed to get a keepsake, it's value would be in it's story, stinky or otherwise.

Shy friend

You have a very shy, reserved, soft-spoken friend. She's really sweet but barely talks and seems uncomfortable being the center of attention. If she ever is, she blushes and avoids eye contact. She has facebook though and is very open on there. She posted a few videos on facebook of her playing the piano and they're pretty good. But in person she's soooooo quiet and shy.

Do you think it's weird that she posted those videos? What would u think after seeing them?

i dont think its weird at all that she posted the videos. For someone who is shy and doesnt really like to express themselves, its a lot easier to do it on facebook where you can hide behind a computer.. I think its very normal.

Maybe your friend feels more comfortable posting online because she doesn't feel as if she's being watched or scrutinized by others like she would if she were playing piano live in front of people.

There's nothing wrong with that. If you really enjoy her piano performances, be sure to tell her and compliment her in person. It might help boost her confidence, especially when it's coming from a genuine friend like yourself. :)

i wouldnt think any diffrerent of her.nothing worn with showing her talent

The Influence of Seapower on History by Alfred Thayer Mahan.

Pretty and beautiful?

whats the difference? according to you

To me, pretty is something that makes me smile a little inside and invites me to come closer.

Beautiful is something that stuns me and makes me just want to stare with my mouth hanging open.

Pretty are the new spring leaves coming out on the trees around the town, and beautiful is the Grand Canyon. Pretty makes me want to impress... while beautiful just reminds me that I am unworthy.

Give me pretty any day of the week and I'll be a happy man!

Pretty is something appealing to the eye. Beautiful is something that's so attractive, it's almost too good to be true.

Have any of you lefty

When I was in Kindergarten, a nun used to slap my left palm with a ruler every day and make me write right handed.

Tell your tells of unfair treatment and prosecution, and let us start a revolution!

I was. I was forced to use my right hand to write but my penmanship was atrocious. So they finally gave up and switched me back to my left hand. Now my penmanship is terrible with either hand.

Being sinister has some advantages, though. We are more balanced with our left/right brain use, more creative, more holistically oriented, and generally more intelligent. We also become more adept at using our opposite hand.

Little known fact are that left handedness is supposed to be a sign of having alien or angelic origins and elite standing in the NWO.

Yes. I went to a small country school and was retrained to write the correct way. I now can write with either hand.

Socrates was famous for asking "What is it?" questions, such as what is virtue? What is justice? When people came up with the standard answers of the time, he picked their reasoning apart. For example, when he asked one young Greek what justice was and the answer that it was whatever the strongest could pull off, he put that answer to shame. It was said he was the wisest of the Greeks because he knew that he did not know; in other words, when a lot of people assumed they had all the answers, Socrates could demonstrate to them that they didn't. The Socratic method of questioning and answering via dialogue came to be known as one of the major forms of debate for our time.

His student, Plato, also became a great philosopher in his own right, and taught Aristotle, carrying on the tradition of Greek thinking. Socrates never wrote anything down; he was against the written record, so the only record we have of Socrates is what Plato wrote.

Socrates was accused of impiety, disrespecting the Gods, and corrupting the youth of Athens, and for that, was sentenced to death by a group of dictators whom he had offended. To prove that he respected the law of Athens and was innocent of the charges of insurrection, he obeyed the sentence of death and drank a poison called hemlock, which slowly killed him. His last words were asking one of his disciples to pay a cock (chicken) to the God Aesculapius as it was the custom to pay this offering for one dying, and to prove he didn't disrespect the Gods.

Socrates was a patriot, having fought in the wars against the Persians. He was a stone cutter by trade, and was said to be particularly ugly, having the face of a rather homely fish, but he had a beautiful mind.
